Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts (06:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
On-call requirements:
- One call shift during weeknights (Monday-Friday)
- 3 weekend call shifts per month (24 hours each)
- 1-2 on-call shifts per week
Work environment: Fast-paced, efficient, team-oriented
Scrubs provided

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech
Prior travel experience required (must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment)
Skills required:
- Interventional Cath
- Cardiac Stent Placement
- Scrubbing
- Right & Left Heart catheterization
- Rotablader
- Thrombectomy
- Stents
- PCI, PTCA, Balloon Angioplasty
Preferred skills:
- Cerner
- Acute Monitoring
- Room Circulator
- ACIST
- Watchman Procedures
- Impella insertion
- TAVI/TAVR

Required Certifications and Licenses

BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC certified
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
RCIS or ARRT certification
If holding ARRT certification, Maryland State License is required

Required Qualifications and Compliance

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Maryland
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Completion of at least one prior travel assignment
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
ARRT certification
Experience with:
- Interventional Cath
- Cardiac Stent Placement
- Scrubbing
- Right and Left Heart catheterization
- Rotablader
- Thrombectomy
- Stents
- PCI
- PTCA
- Balloon Angioplasty

Additional Information

Must be able to function in a high-paced, efficient environment and be a team player
Facility-specific orientation and compliance modules required before start
Valid driver's license required if driving is an essential job function

This position is ideal for experienced Cath Lab Techs with prior travel assignments looking for a 13-week travel contract in Maryland.
