Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Acute Dialysis

Location: Janesville, Wisconsin

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking an experienced RN for the Inpatient Acute Dialysis unit.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Every other weekend and rotating holidays
• On-call schedule averaging 3-4 days per month and one weekend per month

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following nursing techniques, policies, standards of care, and state laws
• Document care according to standards
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians or hospital policy, including patient and family education
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments to support the patient’s longitudinal plan of care
• Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and experience, escalating issues appropriately

Required Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN License
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in specialty (defaulted to 1 year as no other experience specified)
