Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – Observation (Nights)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with orthopedic experience for a temporary assignment in Phoenix, AZ. Weekend and holiday shifts are required. Candidates must be flexible with locations, shifts, and departments to increase chances of placement.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 24 months Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months
• Orthopedic experience required
• Experience working nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to start on the listed start date or within one week
• Must complete learning modules prior to assignment start

Certifications & Licenses

• Active RN license to practice in Arizona (verified within last 30 days)
• Active ACLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
• Active BLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Valid driver’s license to verify residency (AZ residents are NOT eligible for assignments in Arizona facilities)

Additional Requirements

• No hits on state license to practice
• Return to Office (RTO) cannot exceed 7 days and no RTO allowed during the first week of assignment
• Flu vaccination required (medical and/or religious exemptions accepted with documentation)
• PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
• Resume must include all facilities, departments worked, trauma level designation, and number of beds
• Complete Banner cover page and comply with all background check standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel experience is highly preferred but not required

Important Notes

• Candidates must be pre-closed and ready to accept the assignment
• Non-billable hours adjusted to reflect 16 hours per assignment
• Assignments may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty
