Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (General Imaging)

Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in General Imaging / CT
Prior Travel Experience
- First-time travelers considered upon review (prior travel experience not explicitly required)
Patient Population
- Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency Department (ED)
Patient Ratios
- 1:1
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
Skills and Equipment Experience
- IV skills and Power Injection required
- Experience with GE equipment mandatory
- Comfortable working in trauma, stroke, and fast-paced environments
Support and Team
- Receptionist available during day shifts
- Hospitalist/Physician available after hours
- Radiology resident onsite
- Transport and tech aides available on shifts
Work Environment
- Level 1 Trauma Center
- Level III Perinatal Center
- Teaching Hospital
- Magnet Designation
- Comprehensive Stroke Center
Orientation and Scheduling
- 1 day orientation on the unit
- Weekend rotation every other weekend
- Up to 7 days off can be approved
- No on-call required
Charting Systems and Equipment
- EPIC electronic health record system
- Alaris infusion pumps
- Pyxis medication dispensing system
Additional Notes
- Average scans per day: approximately 15 (varies)
- Techs do not process scans themselves; processing is done by a third party
- Scrub color: gray
- Parking available (paid option) and public transportation nearby
This position is ideal for experienced CT technologists comfortable in a high-acuity, fast-paced trauma and stroke center environment, with strong technical skills on GE equipment and IV/power injection capabilities.
