Job Opportunity: Cardiac Sonographer

Location: Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Work Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Flexible with weekend shifts and holidays

Required Qualifications

• License: Must hold a valid license appropriate for Cardiac Sonographer practice in Massachusetts (no conditional licenses accepted).
• Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross (AHA preferred).
  • N95 Respirator Fit Test completed within 1 year prior to start date and updated annually (no onsite fit testing).
• Immunizations and Health Requirements:

  • Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity proof.
  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 15), no exemptions allowed.
  • TB screening within 3 months prior to start date (skin test or blood test), with updates if there is a break in service longer than 6 months.
  • Health statement signed by a licensed provider within 1 year of start date.
  • Strongly preferred Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity proof.
  • Tdap vaccine preferred within the last 10 years.
• Background Checks and Verifications:

  • Criminal background check and Massachusetts CORI check within 45 days prior to start date.
  • National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start date and updated annually.
  • Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, and Medicaid exclusion lists.
  • Social Security Number trace and education verification.
• Additional Documentation:

  • Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
  • Two professional references within the last 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher.
  • Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
  • Confirmation of assignment form required for all initial assignments and extensions.
