Registered Nurse - Observation Unit

Location: Kingman, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Orientation: Every Monday
• Charting system: Meditech preferred but not required
• Scheduling: Blocked scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• Float: May be required to float to other medical-surgical units
• Weekend shifts: Every other weekend
• Patient ratio: 1:5-6
• Telemetry experience required due to potential for remote telemetry monitoring
• Locals and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is not required
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced observation unit environment with potential telemetry monitoring
• Must be flexible for floating to other units as needed
