Job Opportunity: Mammography Technician

Location: Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts

Work Schedule

• Monday: Off
• Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Sunday: Off

Required Qualifications

• License/Certification:

  • Must have ARRT certification relevant to Mammography Technician role.
  • Primary source verification of professional license/certification required within 30 days of start date.
  • Conditional licenses are not accepted.

• Vaccinations and Health Requirements:

  • Documentation of MMR vaccination or proof of immunity.
  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (October 1 – March 15), no exemptions allowed.
  • TB screening (skin test or blood test) within 3 months of start date, with updates if there is a break longer than 6 months.
  • Health statement signed by a licensed provider within 1 year of start date.
  • Strongly preferred: Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity.
  • Preferred: Tdap vaccine within the last 10 years.
  • If positive TB test, documentation of a negative chest x-ray is required.
  • Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit testing is required.

• Background Checks and Verifications:

  • Criminal background check and Massachusetts CORI check within 45 days prior to start date, updated if break >6 months.
  • Social Security Number trace and national sex offender registry check within 30 days of start date and updated annually.
  • Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, Medicaid exclusion lists, with required attestations.
  • Verification of highest level of education achieved.

• Professional Documentation:

  • Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
  • Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher.
  • Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
  • Confirmation of assignment form required for all initial assignments and extensions.
  • Candidate submission coversheet required for initial assignment submissions.
