Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Days)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois

Job Description

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care. The role may require floating within the same discipline across local campuses.

• Work hours: 36-40 hours per week (overtime billable after 40 hours)
• Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC
• Orientation schedule available throughout the year

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois (Iowa license offered as well)
• ACLS certification (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Experience with chest tubes, femstops, tracheostomies, continuous bladder irrigations (CBIs), drains, and central lines
• Experience with medication titration including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must not have been employed by this employer within the last 12 months
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• License verification and copies of required certifications
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
