Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Olympia, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 Weekend Nights (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM)
Start Date: ASAP
Job Description
- Perform CT procedures including setup, scanning, and processing.
- Communicate with radiologists, physicians, patients, and families.
- Perform contrast injections, quality control, reporting, and scheduling.
- Operate and maintain CT and auxiliary equipment.
- Work under imaging and safety guidelines.
- No on-call required.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Washington.
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year.
- Experience working with adult patients.
- Skills in Brain Perfusion, Spine and MSK, Vascular CTA, MRP, and Contrast Preparation.
- Certifications required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT (R) - Radiography
- ARRT (CT) - Computed Tomography
Additional Requirements
- Local residents within 50 miles are not eligible for this travel contract.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
- All requested time off must be included in the submission.
Unit Information
- Work in Diagnostic Imaging.
- Facility operates 24/7, serving both inpatients and outpatients.
- Emphasis on MRI safety and quality imaging for excellent patient outcomes.
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Background check within 45 days covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years.
- Drug screening (10 panel) within 90 days of start.
- Physical exam within 1 year of start.
- Immunizations and health screenings including:
- TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
- TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
- Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
- COVID vaccine or declination
- Respirator clearance required annually for travel staff.
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years.
Training & Competency
- Completion of required competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable.
- Completion of facility and specialty-specific training modules annually via LMS platform.
- Compliance with state-specific background and registry checks as applicable.

- No call required.
- Radiation badge issued by facility if applicable.
- Passport-style badge photo required.
- Float policy acknowledgment may be required (ability to float to nearby facilities).
This position is ideal for CT Technologists with at least 1 year of experience who are interested in a weekend night travel contract in Washington state.
