Job Opportunity: CT Tech - Radiology

Location: Panama City, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking a CT Tech skilled in both CT and X-ray procedures to work in a Free-Standing Emergency Room (FSER) environment. The position involves working Monday through Thursday, 1:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

The unit has 12 beds with 1 tech per shift and uses GE CT and X-ray equipment, including AMX Navigate portable machines. The electronic medical record system is Meditech Expanse.

Typical Procedures

All CT procedures (non-interventional)
Most X-ray procedures (excluding OR or Fluoroscopy)

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
ARRT Certification
BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Experience in an Outpatient setting

Preferred Qualifications

IV start skills
Experience as RT(R)(CT)

Ideal Candidate Profile

Willing to be an active part of the entire FSER team, not just the imaging team

Additional Notes

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
Must be able to perform both CT and X-ray in an FSER setting.
