Job Opportunity: Perfusionist
Location: Greenville, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work schedule: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (shift times may vary based on need).
- Must be able to independently assist with ECMO cannulation for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced emergent cardiac cases.
- ECMO transport experience is required.
- Must have experience with Spectrum pumps (facility recently transitioned to these).
- Additional equipment experience requested: Terumo system 1, Quest MPS 2/3 Cardioplegia, ISTAT, Centrimag, Impella 5.5, Bellmont Hyperthermia Kit, CardioHelp, Angiovac, CardioQuip HC.
- Scrubs provided by the unit.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Perfusionist, including experience within the last year.
- Completion of at least one travel assignment as a Perfusionist.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
- Certifications required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Experience working with adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
- Experience assisting with ECMO cannulation for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
- ECMO transport experience.
- Experience with Spectrum pumps.
- Experience with Terumo system 1.
- Experience with Quest MPS 2/3 cardioplegia.
- Experience working with Epic electronic health record system.
