Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Greenville, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM, Friday through Sunday
- Must have Trauma Level 1 experience
- Experience with Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center required
- Medication system used: Omnicell
- Must have at least 1 year of EPIC experience
- Communication method: SBAR
- Floating between units is required
- Preferred: CT certification (experience with Philips 128 iCT SP, GE Rev EVO 64, Siemens Edge Plus 128 CT scanners)
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- SCRQSA (South Carolina Radiologic Quality Standards Association)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - ENA TNCC required (check unit specifics)
- Other certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., PALS, NRP, NIH Stroke Certification)
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Experience with Epic system
- BLS certification
- ARRT certification
- SCRQSA certification
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Proof of identity (Driver’s License/State ID) required immediately upon signing
- Background check within 7 years, completed within 12 months of start date
- Ongoing EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks every 30 days during assignment
- Education verification (highest level required)
- Physical exam within 1 year attesting ability to meet physical demands
- Drug screening within 1 year, updated annually (5 panel minimum)
- Immunizations and health documents including:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (if working in high-risk areas)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B documentation or declination
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption (not required for remote workers)
- Respirator fit test completed onsite during orientation
- HIPAA and safety training acknowledgments
- Completion of online orientation modules within 72 hours of assignment
- Pass/fail testing for medication and arrhythmia competency (if applicable)
