Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Greenville, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM, Friday through Sunday
  • Must have Trauma Level 1 experience
  • Experience with Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center required
  • Medication system used: Omnicell
  • Must have at least 1 year of EPIC experience
  • Communication method: SBAR
  • Floating between units is required
  • Preferred: CT certification (experience with Philips 128 iCT SP, GE Rev EVO 64, Siemens Edge Plus 128 CT scanners)

Required Certifications

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • SCRQSA (South Carolina Radiologic Quality Standards Association)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - ENA TNCC required (check unit specifics)
  • Other certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., PALS, NRP, NIH Stroke Certification)

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
  • Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
  • Experience with Epic system
  • BLS certification
  • ARRT certification
  • SCRQSA certification

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

  • Proof of identity (Driver’s License/State ID) required immediately upon signing
  • Background check within 7 years, completed within 12 months of start date
  • Ongoing EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks every 30 days during assignment
  • Education verification (highest level required)
  • Physical exam within 1 year attesting ability to meet physical demands
  • Drug screening within 1 year, updated annually (5 panel minimum)
  • Immunizations and health documents including:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (if working in high-risk areas)
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
    • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B documentation or declination
    • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption (not required for remote workers)
  • Respirator fit test completed onsite during orientation
  • HIPAA and safety training acknowledgments
  • Completion of online orientation modules within 72 hours of assignment
  • Pass/fail testing for medication and arrhythmia competency (if applicable)
