Description

Registered Nurse - OR (Travel Assignment)

Location: Savannah, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Unit and Work Environment

  • Unit: Operating Room (OR)
  • Number of OR beds: 30
  • Patient ratio: 1:1
  • Team includes OR RNs, Surgical Techs, OR Care Techs, Schedulers, Anesthesia Techs
  • Equipment: Various OR equipment
  • Documentation system: Epic
  • Schedule: Night Shift, Block Schedule, No Call, No Weekends
  • Floating policy: No float

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
  • Experience working with Level 1 and Level 2 Trauma patients
  • Trauma experience

Additional Information

  • Procedures performed cover all service lines
  • Dress code: Navy scrubs, home laundered
  • The unit emphasizes a supportive work environment with experienced staff
  • Night shift only, no weekend or call requirements

This assignment offers an opportunity to work in a busy OR with trauma cases in a well-equipped unit on a stable night shift schedule.
