Description

Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Arlington, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Four procedure rooms and six holding rooms
16 staff members total
Day Shift: Manager, Supervisor, 15 RNs and CVTs
Night Shift: Call team
Patient Ratios: 1:1 during procedures, 3:1 in holding
Equipment: EMR (Meditech), MacLab

Job Description

Perform interventional cardiac, structural heart, interventional neuro, peripheral vascular, and IR/special procedures
Full call team capability 24/7 with two call teams at all times
Hospital provides scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with experience within the last year
Certifications required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- Cath Lab Tech Certification
Cath Lab Tech Skills Checklist

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in IR/Special Procedures

Personality Fit

Energetic, outgoing, friendly

Additional Information

No floating areas assigned
Dress code: Scrubs provided by hospital
Full call team participation required including weekends and nights
