Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry (Travel/Contract)

Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse for Med/Surg Telemetry on a travel/contract basis. This position involves working 12-hour shifts (3 shifts per week) with a rotating day/night schedule (7pm-7:30am / 7am-7:30pm). Shift rotation may be required to meet operational needs.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience of at least 1.5 years, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Orientation & Competency Testing

• Orientation includes medication and ECG competency exams with required passing scores (SafeMedicate 90%, ECG 80%).
• Candidates unsuccessful on first attempt will receive remediation and retake opportunities.
• Not required for candidates returning within 6 months of previous assignment at the same system.

Notes

• Candidates must carry a government-issued photo ID while on assignment.
• Fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing; facility will also conduct fingerprinting onsite.
• Candidates may start with fingerprint results pending if fingerprinting is completed prior to start.
• Modules and onboarding must be completed prior to clearance to start.
• Candidates with gaps longer than 6 months since last assignment may need to repeat orientation and modules.

This position requires a dedicated, experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN with current licensure and certifications, able to work rotating shifts and meet all health and compliance requirements.
