Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg / Med Surg/Telemetry (Days)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care. You may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

• Typical work hours: 36-40 hours/week, with overtime billable after 40 hours
• Orientation sessions available regularly throughout the year
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC
• Night shift differential: 16 hours
• Overtime/Holiday pay multiplier: 1.15x
• Call back pay multiplier: 1.5x with 2-hour minimum
• Charge/Precept pay available

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Illinois
• At least 2 years of Med Surg experience (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Driver’s license (required)
• Work history/resume (required)
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission (required)
• License verification (required)
• Copy of required certifications
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Stepdown/Cardiac experience preferred (as floating to Stepdown unit may be required)
• First-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio approximately 1:5-6

Additional Information

• Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required
• Orientation schedule provided with multiple start dates throughout the year
