Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Employment Type: Contractor
Contract Length: 9 weeks

Job Description

• Work setting includes inpatient and outpatient care with general CT and vascular patients.
• Patient load is approximately 50 patients per shift.
• Patient ratio is 1:1.
• Support on the unit includes a supervisor.
• Scheduling requires alternating weekends and 2-3 on-call shifts per month (maximum).
• No holiday work expected.
• Orientation includes at least one shift to learn workflow.
• Floating is not required.
• Scrub color: Caribbean Blue.
• Free parking available.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Illinois.
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• Experience with vascular CT procedures.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACR, and IEMA.
• Experience with Epic charting system.

Additional Information

• Facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center with Level II NICU.
• Magnet designated and Primary Stroke Center.
• Bed capacity: 273.
• Patient types include general CT and vascular patients.
• First-time travelers considered upon review.
