Location: Lamar, Colorado

Job Description

Perform a variety of technical procedures using ionizing radiation, including CT and X-Ray examinations. Responsibilities include producing radiographs with proper technical factors, evaluating films for exposure and positioning, scheduling exams, instructing patients on exam preparations, and organizing rooms for radiographic procedures. This role requires independent judgment and technical skills to ensure high-quality imaging for diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray examinations
• Produce radiographs using proper technical factors
• Evaluate each film for proper exposure and positioning
• Schedule exams and instruct patients on preparation
• Set up and organize rooms for radiographic procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians
• Adapt to emergency situations and work independently

• Strong communication skills with diverse groups
• Ability to problem solve and work independently
• Flexibility to work in changing conditions
• Manual dexterity to operate imaging equipment
• Ability to lift and move patients (with or without assistance)
• Ability to maneuver equipment weighing 20 pounds or more
• Visual and hearing acuity to receive feedback and information
• Frequent stooping, standing, bending, and moderate lifting

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year
• At least 3 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging, including CT and Radiologic Technology
• Experience as a Radiology Technologist and X-Ray Technician
