Description

Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel

Job Details

Contract Length: 10 weeks
Orientation:
- 4-hour hospital orientation
- Followed by an 8-hour shift on the floor
Uniform Scrub Colors:
- RNs: Navy, white, or a combination of navy and white
Tobacco Use Policy:
- Tobacco use is prohibited in all buildings, entrances, properties, and campus-designated parking areas

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Additional Information

KRONOS time clock system used for shift tracking with specific clock-in/out codes
Strict adherence to facility policies and procedures expected
