Description

Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel


Job Details

  • Contract Length: 10 weeks
  • Orientation:
    • 4-hour hospital orientation
    • Followed by an 8-hour shift on the floor
  • Uniform Scrub Colors:
    • RNs: Navy, white, or a combination of navy and white
  • Tobacco Use Policy:
    • Tobacco use is prohibited in all buildings, entrances, properties, and campus-designated parking areas

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
  • Certifications:
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
    • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Additional Information

  • KRONOS time clock system used for shift tracking with specific clock-in/out codes
  • Strict adherence to facility policies and procedures expected
