Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Position
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Nurse with ICU specialty for a travel assignment. This is a rapid response position with guaranteed hours and potential overtime after 48 hours.
Contract Length
- Approximately 13 weeks
Orientation
- 4-hour hospital orientation
- Followed by an 8-hour shift on the floor
Uniform Colors
- RNs: Navy, white, or a combination of navy and white
Work Environment Notes
- Tobacco use is prohibited on all campus properties, including personal vehicles in designated parking areas.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) RN experience, including experience within the last year
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Additional Information
- Special scheduling requests (RTO) will not be accommodated
- Timekeeping instructions provided on site
- Overtime available after 48 hours worked
This position does not require prior travel experience.
