Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
Location: Austin, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Friday to Sunday, 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM (1 weekend mid-day shift)

Job Description
Seeking an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer for a 13-week travel assignment. The role involves performing ultrasound and vascular technologist (RVT) procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Certification: ARRT (S) or ARDMS certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience as a CT Technologist
- Experience as an MRI Technologist
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician
Unit Information
- Equipment used: GE ultrasound machines
- Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
- Weekend shifts required
- Some call required
Additional Details
- Dress code for technologists: Olive green scrub top and black pants
- Permanent positions available on the unit
- Preferred candidates have at least 2 years of experience (considered a plus)
Summary
This is a travel contract position for an experienced Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer with ARDMS certification and BLS, working primarily weekend shifts with some call responsibilities. The unit uses GE equipment and Meditech EMR. Permanent positions are available for those interested beyond the contract.
