Location

• Approximately 20 weeks

Job Description

• Perform all types of general CT scanning procedures.
• Start IVs as part of patient care.
• Work with GE brand CT scanners.
• Use Epic EMR and McKesson PACS systems.
• Function effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity, high-volume environment.
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred.
• No floating or coverage of other areas required.

Schedule

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each.
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, every fourth weekend with holiday rotation.
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, every third weekend with holiday rotation.
• No call or standby required.
• Holiday work is not mandatory but may be available if desired.

Orientation

• 2 weeks of orientation (3 twelve-hour shifts per week).
• Dedicated trainer provided during orientation.

Department & Equipment

• CT department with 5 GE CT scanners.
• Facility size: 640 beds.
• Dress code: Normal scrubs, solid colors or some prints allowed.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in CT.
• Illinois Emergency Medical Agency (IEMA) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with GE CT scanners.
• Ability to start IVs.
• Prior travel experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work in a high-volume, high-acuity setting.

• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted.
• Drug-free workplace; negative drug screen required.
• No call or holiday requirements unless candidate opts in.
• No floating to other departments.
