Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Austin, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Friday to Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Call Requirements: Limited to none
Weekends: Rotating

Unit Overview

• Imaging Services department located on the 1st floor
• Large team with 100+ imaging techs and interventional radiology nurses
• Day shift typically staffed with 1 lead and 4+ techs per shift depending on modality
• Night shift staffed with 3 techs in CT/Radiology and 1 in Ultrasound/MRI
• Equipment primarily GE brand
• Fast-paced environment with high acuity patients, including stroke and trauma cases

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Texas
• ARRT Certification
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience in Radiology, including experience within the last year
• Experience with TMB (Texas Medical Board) requirements
• Experience working with stroke and trauma patients
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

• Additional modality licenses or certifications (e.g., NMTCB, MRI, ACLS, RDMS) are a plus
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
