Position Details

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of clinic nursing experience within the last year
• Urology nursing experience
• BLS and CPR certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Prior Travel Experience

Important Notes

• Radius rule: 60 miles; local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Proof of work eligibility in the US (I-9 attestation and form)
• Copy of Driver’s License/State ID
• Copy of Social Security Card or SSN verification
• Background checks including criminal, sex offender registry, and employment history (covering last 7 years)
• Education verification (diploma or transcripts preferred as placeholder if needed)
• NURSYS license verification for RN
• Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
• Fit test for N95 mask within 90 days of start, renewed annually
• Immunizations and health documents including:

  • Tdap within 10 years or declination form
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella titers or vaccination proof
  • Hepatitis B titer, vaccine series, or declination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or medical/religious exemption (required during flu season)
• COVID-19 vaccination highly preferred; declination form required if not vaccinated
• Facility-specific orientation modules must be completed prior to start
• Passport-style photo for badge required before start date

Additional Certifications (as applicable)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) may be required depending on unit
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) if working with pediatric units
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) as required by unit
• Other certifications as per unit-specific job descriptions
