Job Description

• Work with 5 CT scanners.
• Patient types include inpatient, outpatient, and ER cases, with some pediatric patients (teenagers, 2-3 per month; no prior pediatric experience needed).
• Procedures include general anatomy scans, calcium scoring, coronary studies, stroke alert, CTA perfusion studies, chest, abdomen, pelvis, head imaging.
• Procedural experience with biopsies and drains is required.
• Patient ratio is 1:1.

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT-CT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - CT certification)

Required Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years of general CT experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience with the patient types and procedures listed above.
• Preferred experience with GE equipment (GE Revolution and Evo models).

Orientation and Scheduling

• Orientation consists of 3 shifts to learn unit flow.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Holiday work expectations: 1 summer holiday and 1 winter holiday.
• Fatigue policy limits work to no more than 60 hours per week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts.

Support Team

• Other CT technologists
• Radiology RNs
• Respiratory therapists and Code Blue team
• Centralized transport team

Charting System

• EPIC

• No floating to other units.
• Scrub color: any except camo or denim.
• Free parking available.

Prior Travel Experience

• First-time travelers are accepted; prior travel experience is not required.
