Description

Registered Nurse – MS/Tele

Location: Rochester, New York
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule & Work Details

Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed
Charting System: EPIC experience required
Floating: Required to float within skillset
Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 1:5 (1:7 for MedSurg)
Unit Size: 26 beds
Patient Population: Post PCI, pacemakers, AICDs, post MI, cardiac pharmacologic interventions
Locals within 75 miles are not accepted
First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

Licenses & Certifications

Valid RN license in New York
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Clinical Skills & Experience

Telemetry experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
Experience with EPIC
Emergency response
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Rapid response/code team use
Non-invasive airway management
