Description

Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) - Temp

Location: Brattleboro, Vermont
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Responsible for patient care and safety during CT exams.
  • Operate CT equipment and maintain related records.
  • Stock supplies and organize scheduling.
  • Shift covers Saturday morning through Sunday night (36 hours total).
  • Work under the direction of Radiology leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of current CT and X-Ray experience in a hospital setting.
  • Valid license/certification appropriate for CT Technologist role.
  • Resume submission required.
  • Skills checklist specific to CT discipline (within the last year) required.
  • Two supervisory references from the last 2 years of employment required.
  • Certifications preferred but not required at time of submission; willingness to obtain certifications is expected.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior travel experience highly preferred.

Additional Information

  • The position is located in a rural area with limited housing and public transportation options. Candidates should plan accordingly.
  • The Radiology Department provides 24/7 services including diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, CT, interventional radiography, MRI, bone density, and mammography.
  • The department emphasizes quality control, radiation safety, quality assurance, and continuing education.

  • On-call and overtime policies apply but pay details are excluded here.
  • Locals within 50 miles are accepted.
