Description
Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - MS/Telemetry Unit
Location
- Rochester, New York
Employment Type
- Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Available to work every other holiday, if needed
- Call-off Policy: Up to three shifts may be canceled by the client during the contract without penalty
- Special scheduling requests must be submitted at time of application
Unit and Work Environment
- Unit: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele) Unit (assignment given at time of offer)
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5 to 1:7
- Floating: Required to float within skillset
- Must have worked in acute care within the past 6 months
- Scrub color: Navy blue and white combinations
- Locals: RNs within 75 miles are not accepted for this travel role
Requirements/Qualifications
Licenses and Education
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience
- Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience within the last year
- Acute care experience within the past 6 months
Additional Experience
- Acute care experience (general)
