Description
Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – Nights
Location: Largo, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: May 4, 2026
Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (19:30 - 08:00)
Schedule: Every other weekend required; holidays as scheduled; self-scheduling; floating required within specialty; no on-call
Job Description
- Labor & Delivery RN position on night shift
- Patient ratio typically 1:2, up to 1:3 for lower acuity patients
- Patient age range includes neonates, infants, and adults
- Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be accepted
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
- Completion of at least one prior travel assignment
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- STABLE certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
