Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg (Nights)

Location: Mattoon, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Summary

• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care delivery.
• Provides clinical leadership to the patient care team during the assigned shift.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of Med Surg experience.
• Active Illinois RN license (verified via Nursys).
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required within 30 days of start.
• Work history and skills checklist current to within 1 year, relevant to Med Surg/Telemetry.
• Two supervisory reference forms completed with dates of employment.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible).
• Applicants who were direct employees of the facility within the last 2 years are not eligible.

Facility & Work Environment

• Utilizes Cerner EMR system.
• Dress code: Royal Blue Scrubs.
• Nonbillable hours: 16 hours.
