Job Opportunity: Multi-Modality Tech - CT/X-Ray

Location: Lake Geneva, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Weekend night shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7 PM - 7 AM)
Hours per Week: 40 hours (mid shift)

Job Description

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in multiple modalities including CT and X-Ray.
• Maintain active status and competency in assigned imaging modalities.
• Provide clinical leadership and assist with projects and advanced clinical duties as requested.
• Corroborate patient clinical history with procedures and ensure documentation is accurate for radiologist use.
• Prepare patients for procedures, provide instructions to ensure cooperation and minimize anxiety.
• Operate imaging equipment and accessories to successfully perform exams.
• Position and immobilize patients as needed, respecting patient comfort and ability.
• Practice aseptic technique when necessary.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and maintain intravenous access as appropriate.
• Initiate basic life support actions when necessary.
• Provide patient education and practical instruction to students and partners.
• Manage inventory and supplies for the assigned area.
• Follow universal protocol, standard precautions, and use appropriate patient identifiers.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Wisconsin
• CT Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ARRT (R) certification
• ARRT (CT) certification
• X-Ray Technician experience

Additional Information

• Weekend night shift schedule with 40 hours per week.
• Contract length is approximately 13 weeks.
