Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel)

Unit: Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) / Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
Number of beds: 9 Pre/Post procedure beds, 3 Cath Labs, 1 EP Lab
Staff: 18 total
Shift coverage:
- Day shift example: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters; day shift includes rotating call
- Night shift staffing not specified
Patient ratios: Not specified
Equipment used: GE, Philips
Electronic Medical Records (EMR): MacLab/CardioLab, Meditech

Typical Procedures

Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
Electrophysiology procedures and ablations

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting as an RN
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab, including experience within the last year
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
