CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location: Fort Pierce, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Unit Information

• Unit has 2 CT scanners and 2 tables.
• Staffing: 2 CT Techs per shift (day and night), working 12-hour shifts.
• Patient ratio: 1:1.
• Equipment used: GE 1.5 Tesla Discovery 450.
• Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans, MRI, body scans, and X-rays.
• Create detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues for accurate assessment.
• Work independently; adaptability and flexibility are essential.
• Willingness to work weekends and night shifts.
• No on-call duties.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT Certification
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification (not required).
• Additional certifications such as RT (T), ASRT, FASRT are a plus.
