Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology (Days)
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days (8 hours per day)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Manage and care for oncology/hematology patients with Central Venous Access Devices (CVAD).
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Iowa.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- At least 1 prior travel nursing contract completed (prior travel experience required).
- Experience with Epic electronic medical records system.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must not have been employed by this health system within the last 12 months.
- Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Provide work history/resume, skills checklist completed within 1 year, license verification, required certifications, and one supervisory reference at time of submission.
Additional Information
- Orientation dates are scheduled in advance.
- Overtime, holiday, call back, on-call, charge, and precepting pay multipliers apply (details available upon request).
- Facility is a Level 3 trauma center.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: Epic.
This position is ideal for experienced oncology RNs with prior travel nursing experience seeking a temporary assignment in a hospital setting.
