Description
CT Tech - Radiology
Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit and Work Environment
- Unit: Radiology - MRI (Outpatient only, seldom ER add-on)
- Patient ratio: 1 patient every 45 minutes
- Staffing: 1 clerical staff, 1 MRI tech
- Equipment: Signa Explorer 1.5T MRI
- Documentation systems: Meditech, GE PACS, Intelerad
- Floating policy: Not required
- Patient experience managed by Press Ganey surveys
- Procedures performed: Approximately 8 per day
- Dress code: Grey scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
- Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT certification, including ARRT MRI registry
- BLS and CPR certification
- IV training
- MRI Technologist experience
Additional Information
- Advanced skills needed: CPR
- No floating required
- Outpatient setting with new equipment and technology
- Schedule options available within a 36-hour workweek
