Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Travel Position

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Contract Length: 6 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

• Location: Radiology Department, 2nd Floor, F Tower
• Number of Beds: 800
• Staffing:

  • Day Shift: 16 technologists + supervisor
  • Evening Shift: 10 technologists, 2 student techs + supervisor
  • Night Shift: 4 technologists + supervisor
• Equipment: GE Radiology rooms (including portable), Shiatzu, C-arms OEC, O-arms Medtronics
• EMR System: Cerner Rad Net

Job Responsibilities & Skills

• Perform diagnostic radiology imaging including portable and operating room (OR) procedures
• Experience with emergency department (ED) trauma imaging required
• Typical procedures: diagnostic imaging, portable imaging, trauma imaging, fluoroscopic procedures, and surgical imaging
• Must be a team player who can also work independently and be self-motivated

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (R) Certification
• BLS Certification

• Weekend rotations and on-call duties required
