Requirements
- Valid RN license in New York
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Facility Highlights
- Type of Facility: Tertiary Care Hospital
- Total Staffed Beds: 528
- Scrub Color: Any combination of navy and white
- Charting System: Epic
Certifications Required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA only)
- BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA only)
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA only)
- State License Verification
- Color Blind Testing (within 1 year of contract start date)
Health Documents Required
- Current Health Form/Physical Fitness for Duty (signed and dated by provider within a year of start)
- N95 Fit Mask (must be updated annually)
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray (PPD or IGRA test within 12 months of start)
- Vaccination documentation for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Flu Seasonal Vaccination (documentation required by 12/3)
- Snellen Eye Exam (within 1 year of contract start date)
- Drug Testing (within 30 days of start date)
Background and History Checks
- Criminal Background Check (no older than 3 months)
- Employment References (minimum of 2)
- Current Resume/CV
- Education Verification (if applicable)
- State Specific Searches (required within 3 months of start)
Additional Information
- Fingerprinting may be required for Mental Health and Long-Term Care units.
- Candidates must verify at least two past employments.
- Academic verification from a third party is required as per position.
