Job Opportunity: Technologist - X-Ray (Nights)
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide radiologic technologist services with proficiency in Siemens general radiography equipment, Carestream portable units, GE OEC C-arms, and Medtronic O-arm.
- Support all areas of Radiology including plain film imaging, operating room exams, and portable exams.
- Must have operating room experience, particularly with C-arms and O-arms.
- Work includes occasional surgery fluoroscopy and operating room cases.
- Will float across multiple campuses within the local area.
- Use of EPIC electronic medical records system required.
- Work schedule includes night shifts.
Required Experience & Skills
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Iowa
- Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Operating Room experience
- X-Ray Technician experience
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
Required Certifications & Licenses

Additional Information
- Must provide a detailed work history/resume showing at least 24 months of X-Ray experience.
- Skills checklist specific to Radiology Technologist / X-Ray discipline required.
- Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months are preferred.
- Orientation dates available in early May.
- Work hours typically 36-40 hours per week; overtime policies apply.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
This position is ideal for experienced X-Ray technologists with strong operating room and fluoroscopy skills seeking a temporary night shift role in a hospital setting.
