Description
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job
Location: Beaufort, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Dayshift (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- 3 travel nurses needed for day shift
- Patient ratios: 1:5 or 1:6
- Nurses will float between Medical-Surgical and Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed
- Shift schedule includes weekdays, every other weekend, float, and holidays as required
- Facility enforces a 50-mile radius restriction for candidates
- First-time travelers are accepted
- No license or background issues will be accepted
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
