Job Opportunity: Oncology Chemo Certified Registered Nurse
Location: Arlington, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in a fast-paced outpatient infusion center providing specialized care to adult patients.
- Patient care includes chemotherapy, high-risk infusions, injections, therapeutic phlebotomy, blood transfusions, and central line management.
- Team environment with 2–3 nurses per shift, caring for approximately 25–45 patients daily.
- Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 11 hours each (7:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia.
- Minimum of 1 year of oncology nursing experience, with oncology experience within the last year.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
