Description
Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location: Ocala, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), weekdays with rotating call
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Overview
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
- Number of Labs: 3
- Patient Ratio: 3:1
- Equipment: GE lab, Impella, Balloon pump, Penumbra, IVUS
- Documentation System: Merge Hemo
- Floating Policy: May cover nearby hospital for STEMI call
- Procedures: Right and left heart catheterization (diagnostic and interventional), peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Dress Code: Provided OR scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- Electrophysiology Technician experience
Scheduling & Call
- Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts per week
- Call: Rotating call required, including STEMI call coverage
Additional Information
- Patient experience requirement: Minimal 2 years of lab experience
- May be required to float to a sister hospital for STEMI call coverage
