CT Tech - Radiology

Location: West Palm Beach, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

• Unit has 18 beds and 8 staff members including Radiologists, Radiologist Techs, Ultrasound Techs, MRI Techs, and CT Techs.
• Day shift includes Director, Radiologist, and 6-7 Techs.
• Night shift includes Charge RN, On-call team, and 3-4 Techs (varies by volume).
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2 depending on patient stability.
• Equipment used: All GE equipment including MRI units, scanners, cameras, X-ray, and fluoroscopy.
• Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech.

Typical Procedures

• CT Scans
• MRI
• Body scanning
• X-Rays
• Creating detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues for accurate assessment

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GE equipment
• Experience with Meditech EMR system
• RT (T), ASRT, FASRT certifications are a plus

• Ability to multi-task and collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and patients
