Job Opportunity: Technologist (CT)

Location

• Morrisville, North Carolina

• Contract Clinician

Contract Length

• Approximately 26 weeks

Work Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 hours per week

Job Summary

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies ensuring patient safety.
• Pre-screen patients for contraindications to radiation and contrast injections.
• Use aseptic injection techniques.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and other customers.
• Troubleshoot CT scanner and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, etc.).
• Train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators as needed.

Equipment & Systems

• Experience with Go-Top Siemens CT scanner preferred.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system preferred.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• ARRT certification in CT required.
• Valid state driver's license as applicable.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• Local travel may be required.

• Candidates should be aware of travel time between locations.
• Time off requests during the assignment should be communicated in advance.
