MRI Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location: Weatherford, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Tuesday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Call Requirements: Yes
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Job Description

• Dual role as MRI and CT Technologist required
• Must be able to perform X-Rays in addition to MRI procedures
• Work primarily on 1st shift
• Floating as needed

Unit & Equipment

• Imaging Rooms include 4 GE scanners (1 FF Digital, 2 retrofitted with Carestream digital)
• Portable units: 3 digital (1 GE, 2 Carestream)
• C-Arms: 5 GE units
• Documentation system: Meditech RIS (experience preferred)
• Experience with Siemens, GE, and Phillips MRI systems required
• Preferred experience with Toshiba 32 slice, GE 16 slice bright speed, and GE 64 slice scanners

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS certification required

Appearance & Professional Standards

• Facility provides scrubs; specific scrub color not required
• Nails must be clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or similar enhancements
• Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Facial hair must be clean and neatly trimmed
• Tattoos should be covered whenever possible; exceptions handled individually
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited (e.g., nose rings, tongue rings)
