Job Opportunity: Neurology EEG Technician

Position Details

• Employment Type: Contractor

Job Description

• Perform EEG testing primarily in outpatient and inpatient settings (2 beds each).
• Float to ICU to perform EEG tests as needed.
• Patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics.
• Patient conditions include seizures, strokes, gunshot wounds, autism, ADHD, pseudo-seizures, and trauma.
• Patient ratio is 1:1.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of EEG technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• Current BLS certification.
• EEG certification.
• Experience working with neonate patients.

Work Environment & Support

• Supported by other EEG technicians, EEG supervisor, RRT/Code Team, and public safety officers.
• 911 emergency response protocol for outpatients.
• Scrub color: Caribbean Blue.
• Free parking available.

Scheduling & Orientation

• Orientation: 1 shift on the unit.
• Weekend rotation required every weekend.
• No on-call duties.
• Work holidays if they fall on scheduled workdays.
• No formal time off approval process mentioned.
