Description
Job Opportunity: Rehabilitation Nurse (LVN / LPN)
Location: Rio Rancho, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Work in an inpatient hospital/rehabilitation setting with acute inpatient rehab patients.
- Patients typically stay about 14 days.
- Ability to fill in as charge nurse as needed (ACLS certification required if in charge nurse role).
- No on-call required.
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.
- Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:45 to 7:15).
- Attire: Charcoal gray scrubs, close-toed shoes.
- Charting system: Cerner.
- Free parking available.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in New Mexico.
- Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care experience within the last year.
- Experience in an inpatient setting.
- Experience in a rehabilitation setting.
- Experience in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC).
- Experience in charge nurse roles.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
