Job Opportunity: Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology
Location
- Aurora, Colorado

- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Day shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Unit Information
- Unit: Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Hospital size: 272 beds
- IR suites: 2
- IR staff: 4 techs and 6 RNs
- Day shift staffing: 4 techs and 4-5 RNs
- Night shift: on call
- Patient ratios: approximately 1:1 to 3:1 (estimated)
- Equipment: GE imaging systems
- EMR system: Meditech
Typical Procedures
- Basic IR procedures including drains
- Neuro-related interventions
- Complex cases such as air spheres, tumor ablation, spine jack procedures
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
Preferred Qualifications
- VI certification or CVIR
- Experience in neuro procedures
- Experience working in a thrombectomy center
