Job Opportunity: Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology

Location

  • Aurora, Colorado

Employment Type

  • Travel assignment

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Work Schedule

  • 36 hours per week
  • Day shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Unit Information

  • Unit: Interventional Radiology (IR)
  • Hospital size: 272 beds
  • IR suites: 2
  • IR staff: 4 techs and 6 RNs
  • Day shift staffing: 4 techs and 4-5 RNs
  • Night shift: on call
  • Patient ratios: approximately 1:1 to 3:1 (estimated)
  • Equipment: GE imaging systems
  • EMR system: Meditech

Typical Procedures

  • Basic IR procedures including drains
  • Neuro-related interventions
  • Complex cases such as air spheres, tumor ablation, spine jack procedures

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year

Preferred Qualifications

  • VI certification or CVIR
  • Experience in neuro procedures
  • Experience working in a thrombectomy center
