Description
Nursing Supervisor - Massachusetts, Nantucket
Position Details
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, rotating shifts
- Shared housing provided at no cost
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 1 year of House Supervisor experience within the last year
- Certifications: ACLS and PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Education: Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Other relevant nursing or supervisory experience
Health and Safety Requirements
- Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no exemptions allowed)
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation required if fit test is required
- Tuberculosis (TB) screening:
- Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start date
- Updated if break in assignment exceeds 6 months
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity documentation:
- Two measles vaccines, two mumps vaccines, and one rubella vaccine, or two MMR vaccines
- Or proof of immunity via blood test
- Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if break exceeds 6 months
Additional Requirements
- Completion of FEMA ICS 100 and ICS 700b training prior to onboarding (no exceptions)
- Confirmation of Assignment/Point of Interest form required upon acceptance and for any start date changes
- Must sign housing agreement if utilizing provided shared housing (updated if break in housing exceeds 35 days)
Notes
- No prior travel experience explicitly required
- TB positive individuals must provide a negative chest x-ray dated after positive test (optional but recommended)
- Hepatitis B and Tdap vaccines are strongly preferred but not mandatory
