Description

Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Rochester, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36


Job Description

  • Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department (ED) with a patient ratio of approximately 5:1.
  • Work in a unit with 18 head walls and 10 halls.
  • Utilize GE equipment and document using the Expanse system.
  • Follow a variable staffing model with unit secretaries and tech availability.
  • Required to float to other units as needed.
  • Dress code: scrubs.
  • Flexible scheduling options available.
  • Work alongside tenured staff committed to mentoring and developing other nurses.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department (ED), including experience within the last year.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Certifications required:
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
    • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
    • Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
