Description
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Location: Rochester, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department (ED) with a patient ratio of approximately 5:1.
- Work in a unit with 18 head walls and 10 halls.
- Utilize GE equipment and document using the Expanse system.
- Follow a variable staffing model with unit secretaries and tech availability.
- Required to float to other units as needed.
- Dress code: scrubs.
- Flexible scheduling options available.
- Work alongside tenured staff committed to mentoring and developing other nurses.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department (ED), including experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Certifications required:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
