Description
Job Opportunity: Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Kealakekua, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (72 hours every two weeks)
Job Description
- Float between 2 medical-surgical/telemetry units
- Provide care for medical-surgical overflow in ICU and Emergency Department (ED)
- Must have experience with EPIC electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Hawaii
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year
- Pediatric medical-surgical nursing experience
- ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
- Emergency Department (ED) experience
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
- Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
- Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) certification
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- STABLE program certification
- Advanced Surgical Life Support (ASLS) certification
- National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification
- Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON) certification
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification
- Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) certification
